The goal of this interactive workshop is to inspire curiosity and collaboration while increasing knowledge of the scientific process. This workshop designed for high school teens will include a light ice-breaker, followed by a 10-minute presentation on the history of tic research and the scientific process. Then attendees will split into small groups to design their own research project with the help of MnTiC Lab Members. All groups will present their research proposals at the end of the session and will vote on their favorite. Winners will receive a small prize. Participants will be given supplies and structured templates that include the different components of a research proposal, which they will use to design their own research project. Participants will present their research proposals at the end of the session.
